I have started to insert text onto the piece I am doing for the Richard Long Project. It is really interesting because I have decided to have the writing black as the background is dark and will contrast really well.
The writing that I am placing on the canvas is relating to nature and the expedition we went to in ilam.
This is what it reads:
Crunching of the terrain,
388645,348705,
Abundance of colour,
Sound of an infant bird,
Gentle breeze,
Over a steep mound,
Shadows forming,
Time passing,
Progressing through tall grass,
Up, down, up, down,
One with nature!
I have decided to paint this text on so I am having to be really careful when applying as I am following lines.
